Locking device for connecting components
The invention relates to a locking device for releasably connecting two components of a vehicle headlight.
The joining of components, for example in vehicle headlamps, is usually done by screwing, welding, riveting, gluing or Ver-rasten. The connections must be designed so that they are insensitive to temperature, so keep well even at very high and very low temperatures. In addition, their function must not be impaired by vibrations that can occur in vehicles during operation. Conveniently, the compounds should also be solvable again - on the one hand for maintenance, on the other hand for separate disposal after use. Due to appropriate regulations, the dismantling of components is to be increasingly optimized also with regard to recycling processes.
Particularly advantageous, in particular with regard to the reproducible positioning and a possible subsequent solubility, are therefore latching connections.
In the prior art, a number of such snap-in connections are known. For example, here are two solutions from the field of headlight construction called:
EP 2082923 B1 shows a locking device in which a decorative cap can be mounted in the housing of a motor vehicle headlight by means of a combination of U-shaped sliding guides and snap-in locking lugs. The problem is that the production is relatively expensive due to the sliding guides. Such forms are relatively large and can not be flat and easy to implement. In addition, no parallel guide openings are possible; due to the Entformschräge, which is unavoidable in the production of plastic moldings, -2- further, the gap at the rear end is smaller than at the beginning. In addition, a subsequent release of the connection is possible, but not trivial.
WO 2010049453 A1 shows a light module in which a printed circuit board with light sources with a reflector body and an optical holder with lens arrangements for the light sources can be connected to one another via snap connections. These are snap-lock connections that are difficult to remove.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a locking device for vehicle headlights, which is easy to manufacture and eliminates the disadvantages of the prior art.
This object is achieved with the aforementioned locking device according to the invention that the first component has at least one guide element and at least one locking element and the second component has at least two openings, wherein in the mounted state, the at least one guide element is in the first opening and the locking element locked in the second opening.
The invention enables a rapid and detachable connection of components, wherein the assembly is facilitated by means of guide elements. Of course, several, matched locking devices can be provided. Conveniently, the two openings are arranged separately.
In a variant of the invention, the first opening has a central area and at least one slot-shaped area connected to the central area and away from the central area, and the second opening is separated from the central area, the at least one guide element and the detent element being insertable into the central area for mounting and in the direction of the slot-shaped area are movable and in the course of which the Führungselcment is guided in the slot-shaped area until the locking element is locked in the second opening. As a result, a simple and error-free installation is possible because the slot-shaped areas with the guide elements allow cooperation and secure locking of the latching element. At the same time the damage-free release of the locking connection is facilitated by depressing the locking device and moving the components in the opposite direction. Conveniently, the second opening is arranged from the central area in a direction along the slit-shaped area.
In order to facilitate the assembly, at least one guide device for the latching element is advantageously provided between the second opening and the central area on the side of the central area. During assembly, this guide device together with the guide elements leads to a secure closing of the locking device. In a variant of the invention, the latching element is resiliently mounted. Furthermore, the latching element may have a bevel which is designed to increase in the state introduced from the slot-shaped region in the direction in which it is introduced for mounting in the central region. This allows a damage-free closing and opening of the locking device can be ensured.
In a variant of the invention, the bevel can be embodied on the side of the latching element facing the second component.
To improve the function, the at least one guide element at its end remote from the first component end a stop device which engages behind the second component projecting beyond the first opening in the mounted state. As a result, the components are held hei close the locking device in the connected state.
The assembly can be further facilitated if the first opening between the central region and the slit-shaped opening has a transitional region, in... PJ 2 < Bt > which the central body is continuously converging to the width of the slit-shaped opening.
In a variant of the invention, the first component has two guide elements and in the second component, two slot-shaped regions leading away from the central region are provided. Conveniently, the two slot-shaped regions extend substantially parallel to one another.
In a further variant of the invention, at least one latching element is arranged between the two guide elements in the first component and the second opening for receiving the latching element is arranged between the two slot-shaped areas in the second component.
In order to prevent in the assembled state that the components have play with each other, in a variant of the invention on the second component at the end facing away from the Zentralbercich end of the at least one slot-shaped opening at least one casserole provided in a variant of the invention, the casserole is wedge-shaped and in the direction running away from the central area. This rising profile is to be understood in relation to the component level. Furthermore, the run-up element is expediently designed on the side of the second component which points away from the first component in the assembled state.
In a further variant, with the game in the assembled state between the components is reduced (which variant can be combined with the previously described variant), in the second or in the first component at least one blocking opening is provided which in the mounted state with at least one on first or on the second component arranged Blockierelemcnt cooperates such that the blocking element rests on the edge of the blocking opening. The abutment of the blocking element with the blocking opening will cause the i i • < 4 * • · · *

Prevents components. The blocking element may, for example, be designed as a pin or bolt.
Furthermore, the blocking opening may be drop-shaped and a tapered area of the teardrop-shaped blocking opening extend substantially parallel to the slot-shaped areas. The tapered region may be oriented toward the first opening.
Drop-shaped here is a shape that is round on one side and tapering on the other side.
In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to a non-limiting embodiment, which is illustrated in the drawing. In this shows schematically:

FIG. 3 shows the components from FIG. 2 during assembly; FIG. and
Fig. 4 shows the components of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 in the assembled state.
In Fig. 1, two components 1, 2 are shown, which can be coupled with the locking device according to the invention. It is a reflector 1 and a trim panel 2. Subsequently, for ease of understanding, the reflector 1 is referred to as the first component 1, the trim panel 2 as the second component 2. Π 2036 ♦ * • «i * * * * * τ

It should be noted that in the illustrated embodiment, in the field of vehicle headlamp construction is one of several possible applications of the invention.
Fig. 2 shows a fragmentary perspective view of the locking device according to the invention. In the first component 1, two guide elements 3, 3 'are provided, between which a latching element 4 is arranged. The locking element 4 is resiliently mounted. The guide elements 3, 3 'have a substantially L-shaped cross-section, wherein they have stop means 11, 11' in the upper region facing away from the first component 1. The stop means 11, 11 'are designed running substantially parallel to the component plane, while the rest of the guide elements 3, 3' extends normal to the component plane. The locking element 4 has a slope 10.
In the second component 2 there are two openings 5, 6: The first opening 5 has a central region 7, which merges into two slot-shaped regions 8, 8 'connected to the central region 7 and leading away from it. The slot-shaped regions 8, 8 'are made parallel. The transition region 12, 12 'between the central region 7 and slot-shaped regions 8, 8' has a substantially funnel-shaped design, which means that the central region is designed to run continuously there along the width of the slot-shaped openings 8, 8 '. This has the reason that the assembly is facilitated, as will be explained below.
At the ends facing away from the central region 7 ends of the slot-shaped areas in the illustrated embodiment, run-up elements 13, 13 'are arranged. These casserole elements 13, 13 'are wedge-shaped and running in the direction of the central region 7 rising away. The rising version refers to the component level. The casserole elements 13,13 'are optional and serve to reduce the clearance between the components 1, 2 in the assembled state. A further variant for reducing the play between the components 1, 2 is the combination of a blocking opening 21 and a blocking element 20 (see FIGS. 1, 3 and 4). - 7- «« · ··· 2 <"6
The second opening 6 is separated from the first opening 5 in the direction along the slot-shaped areas 8, 8 'between the slot-shaped areas 8, 8'. It is used in the assembled state for receiving the locking device. 4
For the sake of completeness it should be mentioned that in the first component 1, other constellations of Führungselemcntcn 3, 3 'and locking elements 4 are possible, that is, a plurality of locking elements and a plurality of guide elements can be used. Accordingly, then the openings 5, 6 in the second component 2 execute.
The assembly is now as follows:
From an initial position, as shown in Fig. 1 and in Fig. 3, the guide elements 3, 3 'and the locking element 4 of the first component 1 in the central region 7 of the first opening 5 in the second component 2 are introduced.
Thereafter, the components 1, 2 are moved relative to one another such that the guide elements 3, 3 'and the latching element 4 move in the direction of the slot-shaped regions 8, 8' of the first opening 5.
The guide elements 3, 3 'thereby move into the funnel-shaped transitional areas 12, 12' - with decreasing width of the opening, which indeed decreases to the width of the slot-shaped areas 8, 8 ', project beyond the stop devices 11, 11' of the guide elements 3, 3 'increasingly the second component. 2
The stop devices 11,11 'are so dimensioned so that they can be performed at the beginning of the assembly through the central region 7, but in displacement in the direction of the slot-shaped areas 8, 8' but increasingly the second component 2 engage behind.
With increasing displacement of the components 1, 2 to each other, the locking element 4 is pressed due to its slope 10 by the separation between the first 5 and second opening 6 in a direction away from the second component 1. The slope 10 is P12036 • · · ♦ «··» »ft v:« · • * · · t · 4 1 • · * ·· * | Doing so on the side facing the second component 2 of the locking element. 4 * executed.
Due to the resilient mounting of the locking element 4, it can bend away without risk of breakage. To guide this pushing away a guide device 9 may be provided at the separation between the openings. This guide device 9 is executed in the illustrated embodiment fork-shaped or tine-like. At this time, the guide elements 3, 3 'are already so far in the direction of slit-shaped areas 8, 8' shifted that their stop devices 11, 11 'engage behind the second component 2 and so the two components 1, 2 in spite of the bending of the locking element 4 together hold.
In the further displacement then the locking element 4 has overcome the separation between the first 5 and second opening 6 and locked in the second opening. 6
Thus, the latched end position is reached, as shown in Fig. 4. By the latching of the locking element 4 in the second opening 6, a displacement in the horizontal direction, that is parallel to the surfaces of the first 1 and second component 2, prevented.
The stop devices 11, 11 'of the guide elements 3, 3' prevent a movement normal to this direction.
To make the connection free of play, the wedge-shaped casserole elements 13, 13 'at the end of the slot-shaped areas 8, 8' are provided: they interact with the stop devices 11, 11 'of Führungselcmente 3, 3' and provide a firm connection by prevent movement of the components 1, 2 in a direction normal to the direction of displacement.
In addition, or alternatively to the casserole elements 13, 13 ', the combination of blocking element 20 and blocking opening 21 can be provided to reduce the play between the components 1, 2. The blocking opening 21 is shown in FIG.
• I • I * * • I • # I t I; * l l · i: · 1 a · f * ··· ·· · m π 20.¾ " ** · «·. *. Embodiment arranged in the second component 2 offset from the first 5 and the second opening 6, respectively. The blocking opening 21 may be formed drop-shaped, for example, wherein a tapered portion of the teardrop-shaped blocking opening 21 is substantially parallel to the slot-shaped areas 8, 8 'extends. Under "drop-shaped" Here, an opening is understood that is round on one side and tapering on the other side.
On the one hand, the blocking opening 21 can be designed as in FIG. 1, where it is arranged inside the second component 2. In a variant (see FIG. 3), the blocking opening 21 is arranged on the edge of the second component 2 so that it is partially open , Of course, these two variants can be combined arbitrarily when providing multiple blocking openings.
The Blockicrelement 20 is in the form of pins or bolts mounted on the first component 1. The arrangement can also be reversed - opening in the first component 1, blocking element 20 in the second component. 2
During assembly, the blocking element 20 is inserted into the blocking opening 21. When the components 1, 2 are moved relative to one another, the blocking element 20 is displaced in the direction of the edge of the blocking opening 21. When the locking element 4 engages in the second opening 6, the blocking element 20 abuts against the edge of the bloc opening 21 and presses against it. By this back pressure the game between the components 1, 2 is impossible.
Due to the teardrop-shaped design of the blocking opening 21, a guidance of the blocking element 20 in the blocking opening 21 is additionally achieved. Furthermore, the blocking is not limited to "queuing". at the edge of the blocking opening 21, but also by the convergence of the edges of the blocking opening 21 is reached.
Of course, any number of combinations blocking opening blocking element may be provided. It should also be noted once again that the game can also be reduced by combinations of run-up slopes 13, 13 'and blocking openings 21 and blocking elements 20.
In order to release the locking device and to separate the two components 1, 2, the locking element 4 can be depressed and the two parts are moved so that guide elements 3, 3 'and locking element 4 are moved in the direction of the central region 7.
